Custom Systems We can build a computer to suit your needs. For about the same price as a bulk-assembled machine, we can build an upgradeable computer with more options and less of the software you don’t need—software that often contains spy ware. Our systems are assembled individually, according to each client’s specific requirements.

Upgrades Not all computers are built the same. Some are proprietary, or model-specific, as to memory, hard drives, and other peripherals. At Mountain Valley Computers we base our reputation on honesty and integrity. We will suggest a computer upgrade only when it is needed, and only if it will be cost-effective for you.

Parts & Supplies Mountain Valley Computers uses only quality, reputable parts that come with a full one-year warranty. Some used parts are also available with a 30-day warranty.

Troubleshooting & Repair With our experience, we’re able to troubleshoot quickly and accurately. If we can’t solve your problem, we don’t charge you. When repairs are necessary, we perform a back- up so you won’t lose data like documents, pictures, e-mail addresses, and Internet “Favorites”. We charge a flat-rate fee to back-up your important data, re-install your operating system and restore your data.

Virus Protection & Security We can scan for and remove viruses and spyware and configure anti virus and anti spyware applications to optimal levels of protection. Mountain Valley Computers recommends McAfee, as other software tends to “over protect” and hinder your computer’s performance. However, we can configure and support any anti-virus software of your choice. We can also install parental controls to further the security of your children.

One-On-One Training Mountain Valley Computers offers one-on-one training to help you become more familiar with hardware, technology, and software fundamentals. We can educate you about your operating system, e-mail, Internet and other applications. Just let us know what you want to learn, and we’ll teach you!

Networking Mountain Valley Computers has experience with Novell, Microsoft Active Directory, network administration, network printing, remote connectivity, and VPN and Firewall configuration. We offer hard-wired and wireless networking, pre and post construction. Patch panels, routers, and servers are also part of our networking experience.
